Sawtelle’s Yamaguchi and its adjoining lot are up for sale with an asking price of $6 million. The 60-year-old family business closed its doors last month.

The brothers decided to stop sale of Yamaguchi and its adjacent property last month to undisclosed buyers.
“We weren’t quite happy with it,” said Henry.
The 20,573 sq.-foot land area, located on the corner of Sawtelle Boulevard and Mississippi Avenue, includes two side-by-side lots zoned C2-1VL (commercial use) and R2-1 (residential use).
The city will allow up to three stories to be built on the commercial lot located at 2051 Sawtelle Blvd., according to Trammell Crow Company broker Craig Meyer. |
