Gardena Valley Baptist to Unveil West Wing
Saturday, March, 2007

Gardena Valley Baptist Church will have an open house March 17.

Gardena Valley Baptist Church invites the community to see its new West Wing at an informal Open House on Saturday March 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Tours will be given of the sprawling 29,000 square foot complex, which includes a community hall/gymnasium, staff offices, classrooms, kitchen, and more. Information will be available about the church’s programs and worship services. In addition, refreshments will be served.

The Open House is a celebration of the completion of Phase One of GVBC’s seven-year, $8.6 million dollar building project. “This gift from God gives us the possibility of expanded ministries to care for and love our communities of Gardena and North Torrance,” says Pastor Steve Langley, who has been the senior pastor since 1994.

Phase Two is currently under construction and will include a new narthex/entry, a new “home room” for our Japanese-speaking Nichigo congregation, fire sprinkler and fire-life safety in the sanctuary and classrooms.

Please join us on Saturday March 17. Gardena Valley Baptist Church, which has served the community for more than 90 years, is located at 1630 W. 158th St., Gardena. For more information, contact the church at (310) 323-5683.
